The academic requirements, policies, and procedures set forth in this handbook are subject to change without advance notice. This edition supersedes all previous publications. All policies in the CUNY School of Medicine Student Handbook supersedes information indicated in course syllabi or by course directors and course faculty.
Some CSOM courses and the third and fourth year mandatory clerkships require placement at clinical sites. CSOM students must abide by the policies and requirements of their assigned clinical sites in order to be allowed at these sites. If you do not comply with their policies and cannot complete your coursework, you may be required to take a leave.

In the event that a student’s email address is changed, the student must notify the Office of Academic Records/Registrar via email at oar.ccny.cuny.edu
Change of Name, Phone Number, Address, Social Security Number
Any student may change his/her address, (billing, home, and mailing) in CUNYfirst Student Services Center. However, to change the permanent address, name, or social security number, students are required to complete a form, provide supporting documentation and submit, in person, to the CUNY School of Medicine Office of the Registrar.
