Academic Standing

Academic standing refers to a student's academic status within the CUNY School of Medicine, as determined by the SAPC at the conclusion of each course. Students are considered to be in Good Academic Standing if they are making satisfactory progress through the curriculum. Students not making satisfactory progress will be placed on Academic Probation or considered for dismissal from the school. All students must maintain an enrollment status which reflects an academic standing for each semester of matriculation.
