Class Representative

Each year several students are nominated by their class to serve as liaison between the cohort and program administration. Class representatives convey concerns or information to and from the class. This is a voluntary position; students must be in good academic standing in order to serve as class representative. Students will be selected after the midterms to ensure professionalism, good academic standing and academic success. Class representatives must demonstrate professionalism through appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication skills and respectful interactions with others (including fellow students, faculty, staff, administration, preceptors, patients, and inter-professional healthcare team members). Class representatives must also demonstrate sound work ethic by showing integrity, responsibility, and initiative. While the cohort will identify and nominate students for the Class Representative position(s), the final selection of Class Representative(s) will be made by the faculty and administration of the PA Program.
